At Amplify Trading our team ethos is integral to everything we do. We foster an atmosphere of information sharing and mutual development between traders, whether they be seasoned professionals or new finance graduates. Below is a brief introduction to some of the key members of the team that support our traders worldwide:
Piers Curran gained recognition as a Senior Trader for GHTC as one of the biggest intra-day traders in the futures market, trading Fixed Income Spreads, Currencies, Commodities and Stock Index Futures. He began his career at HSBC in 2001 as an Analyst in the Global Markets Investment Strategy division having graduated from Imperial College London with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Piers is a respected voice within the industry, his market views can be seen here.
Will de Lucy is Trader, Mentor and Co-founder at Amplify Trading. Will has over a decade of institutional trading experience, specialising in trading futures markets and also takes the responsibility of leading the risk management of the Amplify Team. Will also has an MSc in Carbon Trading and actively advises on developments in this field. Will lectures at BPP Business school on their flagship module of trading and technical analysis.
Jack Christiansen is degree qualified in Business Administration and Masters degree qualified in Applied Finance, having lived and studied in Norway, Australia and Silicon Valley in the US. Jack offers a global perspective to the various events that every day affect the markets. Jack joined Amplify Trading on the Career Program in 2011. Jack works with Amplify to patiently support new trainees during the first stages of any training.
Isabel Lacerda is the company’s Operations Manager. Having a Master’s degree in Information Management from the University of Wales, she is responsible for the smooth running of the development side of the business, making sure that the company reaches the right candidates and that they receive the best service. Isabel is also partly responsible in the business development side of the company where she looks into building partnerships with universities from all over the UK and abroad.
