Frequently Asked Questions

On this page we hope to address some of the common questions you might have about starting a trading career with Amplify Trading.

How can I know if I will succeed as a professional trader?

It is not the case that every individual can succeed in a career as a professional trader. Intraday trading can provide significant challenges, which is reflected by the scale of the potential rewards for those that can succeed. Amplify Trading provides intense one-on-one support and mentoring from experienced traders that can help new traders overcome these challenges and make the most of the opportunity to trade a company funded account.

Can I trade on the trading floor?

We operate on a large trading floor in Canary Wharf and look forward to welcoming traders onto our floor who can show consistent trading on the remote programme. We also understand some talented traders will want to continue trading from home and we will continue to support them remotely.

Why trade a company funded account?

Trading futures provides leverage that greatly increases exposure to a trader's position. This exposure necessitates financial margin requirements that very quickly run into 10's of thousands of pounds. This commitment means that professional futures trading is not available to many potentially successful traders.

What compensation can I expect?

Each trader's profitability relates directly to their individual performance. We would expect a competent trader to be generating five thousand pounds a month by the end of their four month training period, on which they will build in line with increases in their trading size.

Is there a cost?

For each of the intial four months we ask traders to contribute £900 (incl vat) towards the technology and training costs. Our mentors expend huge amounts of effort in training each trader and if there is a financial commitment from both sides the best results can be achieved. It is important to highlight that this amount is equivalent to one month's desk fee on a professional trading floor and can be very quickly recuperated by the trader.

What hours will I need to work?

A trader can commit to our European session between 7am and 4pm or to our United States session between the hours of 1pm and 9pm.  During the initial period we encourage traders gain as much market exposure as possible during these hours to enhance their development.
